Student-athletes recognized at Spring Sports Awards Ceremony

Outstanding athletes in baseball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track were recognized at the Spring Sports Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 3 in Morris Chapel. 

In varsity baseball: 

Senior Lawson Brown of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Senior Aiden Cloud of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Senior Jackson Norris of Rome, Georgia received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In girls' lacrosse: 

Senior Cappie May of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Junior Emily Anne Trebus of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Junior Mary Mac Pittman of Rome, Georgia received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In boys' lacrosse: 

Senior Burke Schrimsher of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Junior Will Bagby of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Sophomore Connor Brown of Rome, Georgia received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In girls' soccer: 

Senior Tanya Maples of Hampton Cove, Alabama received the Pillar Award.

Emma Good of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Junior Sarah Tunnell of Rome, Georgia received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In boys' soccer: 

Senior Brinson Sumner of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Senior Jonathan Murphy of Durham, North Carolina received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Seniors Riccardo Frisiani of Rome, Georgia and Jonathan Murphy of Durham, North Carolina each received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In girls' tennis: 

Senior Katie Carlton of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Senior Ivy Watters of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Sophomores Anaya Desai and Ella Roberts of Rome, Georgia each received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In boys' tennis: 

Senior Saif Khan of Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia received the Pillar Award.

Senior Kaif Khan of Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Senior Tate Roberts of Rome, Georgia received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In girls' track: 

Seniors Lauren Childs of Rome, Georgia and Grace Garlinghouse of Fayetteville, Arkansas each received the Pillar Award.

Junor Emmaline Ratledge of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Sophomore Belle Brooks of Rome, Georgia received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

In boys' track: 

Senior Jackson Floyd of Rome, Georgia received the Pillar Award.

Sophomore Ryan Glass of Rome, Georgia received the Most Valuable Performer Award.

Sophomores Gus Gammage of Cedartown, Georgia and Joey Kight of Rome, Georgia each received the Scholar Athlete Award.
