The McCallie-Kennedy Library would like to once again thank the Brusco family for their generous library endowment. The David J. Brusco Library Endowment was created to honor the memory of their son, and the yearly proceeds from the endowment are used to enhance the library and its collection and resources.
This years proceeds were used to subscribe to Bloom's Literature database, a literary criticism and analysis database, as well a Lexis Nexis, a news and information database. Both of these resource are invaluable resources for the library in a normal year, as students use them to locate support for their projects and papers. But this year, as we moved to distance learning in March, these resources became even more important as they were accessible off campus in student's homes.
We are forever indebted to the Brusco family for their ongoing support of our library.
