Parish has taught graphic design at Darlington since 2005. He holds a B.S. in Graphic Design from Samford University, where he won team and individual conference championships as a member of the track and cross country teams, and is a current school record holder in multiple events. He also has an M.A. in Leadership from Shorter University.
A two-time Darlington Coach of the Year and two-time Rome News-Tribune Coach of the Year, Parish led the girls’ cross country team to win a state title in 2010. Previously, he coached varsity swimming and diving and Middle School cross country at Darlington, and started a youth sports camp in Kiev, Ukraine. Parish and his wife, Jessica, are the parents of Sam (’26), Maylin and Paige.
