I hope this finds you doing well and anticipating a relaxing, fun-filled, family focused summer break. The school year is quickly coming to an end, but before wrapping it up, I want to hold one last parent forum.
Please mark on your calendar for May 20 at 5:30 p.m. in Tiger Hall at the Lower School. We have typically separated the forums into two sessions: PK-4 and 5-8; however, we will combine this last forum for all grades. This will allow us to spend the two hours communicating new PK-8 information. This session will be an information session only, not a Q&A. We have a great deal of information to communicate. As we progress through the information, please jot down any questions that you have and contact Jennifer Talley or Wendy Payne to set up a meeting with me.
During the forum, I will be sharing exciting news about our recent ERB scores and promising trends for the future. We will also talk about library services and the age-appropriate placement of books. I am also happy to share that we have finalized many plans concerning the Lower School move and program for 2013-14, including some personnel changes and additions.
Our final ceremonies are being planned. I hope you will join us to celebrate an incredible year but, most notably, the accomplishments of our students. The dates for these ceremonies are:
