I am writing to announce Darlington School's new traditional Japanese martial arts program. My transition into the Darlington School community has been a wonderful one. Now that I am starting to settle in, I am excited to share another passion of mine with you.
Here is a brief overview:
What: Traditional Japanese Martial Arts
When: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays
*Please arrive early to change and complete paperwork.
Where: Yankee Wrestling Room, Huffman Center
Who: Students and faculty ages 13 and older
Costs:
1. Tuition - $40 per month or $10 per class (not for personal profit - all tuition goes into a dojo account for program development and materials)
2. Uniforms - $25 to $50, depending on size and style, will be on sale within three weeks
*Until you have a uniform, please wear comfortable clothing, suitable for moderate movement and exercise.
3. Weapons - Intermediate students may wish to purchase approved wooden practice weapons
Paperwork: All students will complete a student information and training/rank-tracking sheet upon entry. All students (or their guardians) must complete a liability release waiver.

Transportation: Darlington School will not provide any special transportation associated with this course.
