Twenty-five Darlington students have been recognized by the Duke University Talent Identification Program’s 7th Grade Talent Search, which honors those who have scored at the 95th percentile or higher on a grade-level achievement test. As part of the program, these students have the opportunity to take the SAT or ACT.
“Having 45 percent of our seventh-grade students qualify for the Duke TIP Program is a testament to the type of students we have at Darlington,” said James Hutchins, director of Middle School. “They work hard every day and are conscientious about their progress.”
