Darlington School will host a blood drive in honor of retired Lower School faculty member Lola Bradshaw today from 2 to 7 p.m. Lola taught at Darlington from 1978 to 2007, and is the grandparent of sixth-grader Lillie Bradshaw. She is currently battling cancer, which returned in 2007 after many years of being cancer-free, and has had several blood transfusions this summer alone. Please show your support for Lola by participating in today's Blood Assurance drive at the McCallie-Kennedy Library on the Upper School campus. All blood donated through Blood Assurance stays in Floyd County.
