The following college scholarships were reported to the College Guidance Office from April 26 through June 5:
David Addison earned a $20,000 Academic Scholarship from Southwestern College (Kan.) He is the son of Dr. John and Polly Addison of Mercer Island, Wash.
Katie Adzemovic earned a $36,000 Randolph-Macon Woman's College Founders' Scholarship. She is the daughter of Radivoje and Susan Adzemovic of Saudi Arabia.
Bethany Blevins earned a $29,400 merit scholarship from Berry College, a $32,000 University Scholarship from Oglethorpe University, a $36,000 scholarship package from Reinhardt College, and a $44,000 scholarship package from Shorter College. She is the daughter of Tracy and Michelle Blevins of Rome.
Shireen Fakhri earned a $66,660 University Scholarship from Boston University. She is the daughter of Drs. Ali and Nargis Fakhri of Rome.
Wes Henderson earned a $56,000 Josiah Penfield Scholarship from Mercer University. The school will also provide him with a state-of-the-art laptop computer for his studies at Mercer. He is the son of Barry and Nancy Henderson of Aragon, Ga.
Meredith Hom earned a $10,000 Tiger Scholars Award from Louisiana State University. She is the daughter of Dr. Steve and Linda Hom of Rome.
Lauren Johnson earned a $39,352 scholarship package from Auburn University. She is the daughter of The Hon. Walter and Leslie Johnson of Cartersville, Ga.
Nick Lewis' selection as a National Merit Finalist earned him an $86,000 scholarship from Arizona State University, a $76,000 scholarship from the University of Oklahoma, and a $92,000 scholarship from the University of Florida. He is the son of Gregg and Diane Lewis of Cartersville, Ga.
Clark McGehee earned a $2,500 Georgia Institute of Technology Merit Scholarship and a $120,750 scholarship package from Duke University. He is the son of Rob and Cindy McGehee of Rome.
Jacob Malone earned a $64,000 scholarship package from Mercer University. He is the son of Kam and Debra Malone of Lindale, Ga.
Trey Robinson earned a $26,000 scholarship package from Clemson University. He is the son of Neil and Vicki Robinson of Charleston, S.C.
J.R. Scott earned an Army ROTC Scholarship at North Georgia College and State University. He is the son of Richard and Julie Scott of Rome.
Kelly Sitton earned a $26,000 scholarship package from Mississippi College. She is the daughter of Richard and Donna Sitton of Saudi Arabia.
Maggie Sitton earned a $26,000 scholarship package from Mississippi College. She is the daughter of Richard and Donna Sitton of Saudi Arabia.
Wil Tucker earned a $39,352 scholarship package from Auburn University. He is the son of Dr. Larry and Karen Tucker of Rome.
