Members and officers of the House Senate, Honor Council, Discipline Committee, Student Support Team (SST) and “Y” Cabinet were inducted Wednesday, Aug. 31, at a special installation service held during chapel.
“It is my pleasure to welcome you into the shared leadership of this School,” said David Rhodes, associate headmaster and Upper School principal. “It is my hope and prayer that each of you will be aware, at all times, that you have been called to serve others within our campus community. You have been given the opportunity of entering an important and growing tradition of student leadership at Darlington School. What becomes of that special tradition now rests in your hands.”
House Senate officers are Fatema Bandukwala, president; Drew Beaver, vice president; and Brett Henson, secretary. Members include Peter Whatley, senior class president, as well as Katie Adzemovic, Mary Katherine Branham, Johanna Bucci, Brittni Dulaney, Bo Hammond, John Mark Harris, Emily Hendrickson, Peter Hjort, Titus Junemann, Anna Krueger, Josh LaVerdiere, Jacob Malone, Eliza McArthur, Maritza Mendoza, Mike Moody, Trey Robinson, Christina Rutledge, Maggie Sitton, Elizabeth Sturdivant and Wil Tucker.
Honor Council officers are Luke Hyder, president; Carrington Astin, vice president; and Fatema Bandukwala, secretary. Members include Brittni Dulaney, Bo Hammond, Schell Hufstetler, Sam Smith, Norman Bonnyman, Ben Butler, Steve Chumbler, Anna Krueger, Ross Langley, Ben Pate, Garrett Henderson, Trey Payne and Cole Phillps.
The Discipline Committee president is Peter Whatley. Members include Kendall Brooks, Will Edwards, John Mark Harris, Kendra Harris, Brett Henson, Titus Junemann, Trey Robinson and Michael Schecter.
SST officers are Emily Hendrickson, president, and Wil Tucker, vice president. Members include Norman Bonnyman, Mary Katherine Branham, Marlowe Brant, Bennett Brock, Ben Cantrell, Tiffany Dempsey, Brittni Dulaney, A.J. Evans, Crystal Gadishaw-Lue, Sarah Goggans, Dong Hyun Kim, Shellene-Rae Miller, Caitlin Murray, Anna Orr, Andrew Ruberti, Christina Rutledge and Ashley Udell.
“Y” Cabinet officers are Emily Hendrickson and Wil Tucker, co-presidents; Brittni Dulaney and Maritza Mendoza, co-vice presidents; and Katherine Eid, secretary. Members include Pritchard Allen, Steve Chumbler, C.J.
