Auditions for the Thatcher Spring Musical, Dear Edwina, will be Wednesday and Thursday (January 14-15) from 3:30-5:30. We will start with students in grades 3-5 at 3:30, and our middle school students who are in athletics will join us at 4:00. There will be a mandatory parent information meeting for students who are interested in auditioning on Monday, January 12 at 5:00 in the Thatcher Commons. Mrs. Fowee and Ms. McDermott will be leading our 3rd - 5th grade Robotics Club starting on January 8 and will run until February 19 every Tuesday and Thursday that school is in session. The club will start at 3:15 p.m. and run through 4:15 p.m.
We will be utilizing the Lego Spike Prime program and will require students to bring their iPads with them for each session. This program will be a great introduction to the program that we offer at the middle school level, which competes against other schools.
The fee of $110 will cover 13 sessions of Robotics Club. We are currently capping this club at 20 students and expect to have a waiting list. If we have already met the cap, please make sure you sign up for the waiting list.

Please note that parent pickup for Robotics Club will be at the side door of Thatcher Hall at 4:15 p.m. If your child is not picked up, he or she will be escorted to Extended Day, which does have a cost associated with it.
College Night for Parents of Juniors will be held on Wednesday, January 21 at 7pm in the Dodd Banquet Room. Our featured speaker is Mr. Chad Spencer, Vice President of Enrollment Management at Centre College. The program will be recorded for boarding families. While this program is geared toward our junior parents, all are welcome to attend.
