Darlington Scholar Quest - Session 1

Students entering grades 3-5 are invited to stretch their minds through a variety of fun, hands-on activities and experiences this summer at Darlington Scholar Quest!

A new camp this year, Scholar Quest will focus on math in the morning and writing/grammar in the afternoon with a fun field trip on Friday! Each day will be jam-packed full of active learning and your child won't want to miss it! 

Full Day ($260): 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Half Day ($130): 9 to 11:30 a.m. (math only) OR 12:30 to 3 p.m. (literacy only); half-day campers will still attend the all-day field trip on Friday

Note: Campers should bring a water bottle, lunch and snacks.

About the director
Carrie Watterson
has taught fourth grade since 2022 after having previously taught second grade. With more than a decade of experience in the classroom, she holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Shorter University and an M.S. in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University as well as a Gifted Endorsement, Math Endorsement, and Special Education General Curriculum Certificate (P-12). Prior to Darlington, she spent eight years at West End Elementary School, where she was instrumental in the development of West End's STEM program and served as a grade-level leader, a new teacher mentor, and as the school's Student Support Team (SST) coordinator. She is the mother of Tripp ('25) and Annie ('28).

Molly Jordan has served as a learning specialist at Darlington since 2021 after having previously taught second grade since 2016. She holds a B.A. in Communication from Auburn University, an M.Ed. from Jacksonville State University, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. Prior to Darlingotn, she spent 13 years teaching in the Polk School District, where served on and led several committees and initiatives for the school. She and her husband, Jason, are the parents of Caroline ('25), Neelley ('29), and Stuart ('32).
