Summer reading is a unique, intellectual experience that captures the essence of a college-preparatory education. It gives students the cultural touchstones that they will need not only to have a successful academic experience, but also to examine and to evaluate the quality of their life's experiences. We encourage our parents to read and to discuss the books with their teenagers over the summer, if possible.
