Students are responsible for attending all school commitments, including classes, assemblies, chapel services, class meetings, advisor meetings, and after-school activities, as well as other interscholastic obligations such as required participation in sports and fine arts. Students may be excused from these obligations if they are ill or away due to personal or family emergencies, school-related activities, or school-approved college visits. Unexcused absences are not acceptable.
A student who accumulates eight or more total non-school related absences during the year, or four for a semester, may be denied credit in that course or required to make up missed school time in Saturday School(s).
