J.P. Selle, director of Coosa Junior Tennis Academy, has served as head tennis pro at Coosa Country Club since 2009. Born in Santiago, Chile, he was a top junior in his home country, ranking top two in singles and doubles at the ages of 14 and 16 and top 100 ITF in the world. He was also part of the Chile and South America teams playing COSAT, European and American ITF tournaments. At 17, J.P. earned the top junior ranking in the Chilean “Cristal” pro circuit, allowing him to travel around South America playing qualifications for ATP future tournaments. He earned his B.B.A. from Shorter College, where he won the NAIA Rolex National Championship in doubles and was named an All-America on several occasions. He went on to earn his M.B.A. from Berry College. J.P. holds USPTA Professional 1 and USTA Player Development certifications.
