Eric Cooper has taught middle grades English at Darlington since 2017.. He holds an A.S. in Science from Georgia Highlands College, a B.S. in Education from Georgia Southern University and an M.A. in English-Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. Cooper holds multiple certifications, including a Level 5 Professional Teaching Certificate (P-12) in Art and English. He has two decades of teaching experience, serving most recently as lead art and writing teacher for grades 4-9 at Montessori School of Rome. He has also been a guest co-teacher for a graduate course at Wesleyan University (EDU 519 Advanced Methods and applications in Early Childhood Creative Expression) and in the art department at Berry College.
