Matthew Peal

Previous Background
Matt Peal has taught history at Darlington since 2012 and was named director of operations of Coosa Junior Golf Academy in 2015. He has more than 15 years of coaching and teaching experience. Matt holds a B.A. in History from the University of Georgia and an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from the Klingenstein Center at Columbia University. He has coached golf, baseball, basketball and football at a variety of levels. Most recently, he served as an assistant coach for Darlington’s Region Champion and Georgia 2A State Runner-up varsity baseball team. Matt and his wife, Lauren, who is head of Regester House, have two children, Aidan (’29) and Abigail.
