Ivy Brewer

Associate Dean of College Guidance

Ivy Brewer has been a member of Darlington’s college guidance staff since 2007. As associate dean of college guidance, she has visited more than 200 college campuses and has been designated a Certified Educational Planner. Ivy holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia, an M.A. from Florida Gulf Coast University and graduate certificate in college counseling from University of California Los Angeles Extension. She is a member of both the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling. Ivy also serves on the Board of Directors for SACAC. She and her daughter, Molly (’20), live on campus.

Sr. Transition: Greek Life

Senior girls had the opportunity to hear about sorority life from faculty members Ivy Brewer, Jennifer Rundles, Vicki Vincent and Young Alumni Council member Olivia Drake ('17) during club period. They shared information about Panhellenic Sororities and National Pan-Hellenic Sororities with much discussion specifically on preparing for recruitment season. The students were provided with a list of Darlington alumni and community members willing to help with recommendation letters. This program is a part of the Sr. Transition program sponsored by the Darlington Alumni Council and Young Alumni Council.
