Chris has taught science at Darlington since 2011 and also coaches varsity boys’ soccer. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from California State University at San Luis Obispo and a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Hawaii - Manoa. He also holds a Georgia Science Certificate and a Georgia Earth/Space Science Certificate for grades 6-12. Chris has nearly two decades of teaching experience at the middle school, high school and college levels. He is the father of Arden (’14), and his wife, Jill, is head of Cooper House.

Darlington's winning match over Atlanta Jewish Academy in quiz bowl television program "High Q" recently aired on Atlanta's WSB-TV. Will Crawford ('16), Dawson Horah ('16), Dylan Paracka ('16), and Mary Margaret Wright ('16) led the Tigers, which won 420 to 100.

A team of four students from Darlington's Upper School division won big on "High Q" during last week's taping at the WSB-TV studios in Atlanta. Will Crawford ('16), Dawson Horah ('16), Dylan Paracka ('16), and Mary Margaret Wright ('16) made up the group of young scholars that beat Atlanta Jewish Academy, 420 to 100.
