Mitch Jordan (’90) has more than two decades of experience in education and coaching, serving as athletic director at Mount Paran Christian School for 17 years before returning to Darlington, where he taught and coached from 2002 to 2008, to become athletic director in 2025. Mount Paran received numerous athletic accolades under his leadership, including being named back-to-back Directors Cup Champions in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. Mitch was named Region 6A Athletic Director of the Year in 2014 and 2015 and Georgia Athletics Coaches Association State Coach of the Year in 2014. He holds a B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was a member of the 1990 National Championship football team. He completed additional graduate studies at Georgia Tech and served as a graduate assistant football coach there from 1994 to 1996. Prior to joining the field of education, Mitch earned his CPA and worked in finance for four years. In 2021, he earned his M.A. in Educational Leadership from Gordon College. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and an EXOS Performance Specialist.
