Founded in 1905, Darlington School is a coeducational day (PK-12) and boarding (9-12) school serving over 725 students. Darlington’s campus stretches 500 acres, nestled around a small lake in the foothills of the Lookout Mountain Range in Rome, Ga., a medical center and college town located one hour from Atlanta and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Darlington School seeks an Associate Director of Admission to join a talented, enthusiastic admission team and an engaged, equity-minded faculty committed to the growth and development of young people. The Associate Director of Admission will seek to find students for Darlington School who are interested in participating in our year-round Soccer Academy. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Director of Enrollment Management to design and implement recruitment strategies to meet established enrollment goals for Darlington’s Soccer Academy.
• Establish strong relationships with prospective families and students, as well as with  faculty and staff of Darlington School.
• Manage the application process for prospective students who are candidates for the Soccer Academy by interviewing families, touring families, and supporting their application process.
• Represent Darlington School and the admission team at events on and off campus.
• Support other team members in event planning, onboarding, retention, and other team duties.
• Be  an active member of the men’s Soccer Academy coaching staff.
• Support the recruitment efforts of Darlington Summer Programs by being actively involved in the instruction and marketing to all summer soccer camp participants and their families.

The Associate Director of Admission will report to the Director of Enrollment Management. Travel with and for the Soccer Academy is an expected part of this work. This is a full-time, 12-month position. On-campus housing is an option for those interested in contributing to the boarding community.
