Our second-grade Sunshines have been working on identifying story elements and the author's purpose. Students were challenged to complete a Book Report at home to share with the class. We utilized our book talk time to share our reports and provide suggestions of different books they might enjoy reading. They did a fantastic job and many discovered some new texts they want to read in the future!
