Eighth-grader Jasper Stepp was named Rome Optimist Club Student of the Semester. He invited Kevin Ivester ('87), his sixth- and seventh-grade math teacher and golf coach, to introduce him at the luncheon. Since his parents were out of town, he was also joined by his grandmothers, Shirley Stepp and Ann Tow. Stepp was selected due to his hard work and focus in the classroom, as well as his dedication and excellence as a golfer. He serves as a fantastic example of what a student-athlete at Darlington looks like.
