Today, the first-graders used Play-Doh to create their own pyramids. We have been learning about Ancient Egypt, and today, we concentrated on pyramids. We learned about their purpose, how they were constructed and the different types of pyramids that were built. This morning, after reading some facts about pyramids, and looking at pictures of different types of pyramids that existed, the students had the opportunity to build their own pyramid.
