The first-graders just completed a Spanish mini-project where they learned how to describe animals in Spanish using color words and size words (chiquitito, pequeño, mediano, grande, enorme). They also learned the words for herbivore (herbívoro), carnivore (carnívoro), and omnivore (omnívoro). Their illustrations were great!
