The charcuterie iPeriod was developed for students to learn more about the qualities of a top charcuterie (meat and cheese) board, which goes beyond preserved meats and cheeses, but also includes pickles, olives, jams, jellies, and honey. Jeff Burris, father of Abby ('20), is a beekeeper and showed the hive box, frames with varying degrees of completion, supplies needed for beekeeping as well as a beekeeping suit and allowing students the opportunity to taste different types of honey and honeycomb.
