Third Grade Practices Math with ‘Place Value Snakes’

Third-graders had a fun math homework assignment! They made 'place value snakes' using empty egg cartons. It was important for each student to label the holes of his/her 'snake' from ones all the way up to millions. In class we used the 'snakes' to help us practice expanded form with numbers into the millions.
