Freshman Jane Tullis has been recognized as a 2015 USA Triathlon Youth Elite All-American Honorable Mention in the girls' division for ages 13-15. Honorees are recognized as the top up-and-coming triathletes in the United States, and placement is based on their final national ranking and performance in top junior and youth draft-legal events.

In 2014 and 2015, Tullis was also honored as a USA Triathlon Youth All-American.

At Darlington, she is a member of the varsity cross country, track and field, and swimming teams, and serves on the "Y" Cabinet. The freshman also competes as a part of the Southeastern Junior Triathlon Team and the Frazier Cycling team (Suwanee, Ga.).

She is the daughter of Jennifer and Josh Tullis (‘92) of Rome.

Founded in 1982, USA Triathlon sanctions more than 4,300 races and connects with nearly 500,000 members each year, making it the largest multisport organization in the world. In addition to its work with athletes, coaches, and race directors on the grassroots level, USA Triathlon provides leadership and support to elite athletes competing at international events, including International Triathlon Union (ITU) World Championships, Pan American Games and the Olympic and Paralympic Games. USA Triathlon is a proud member of the ITU and the United States Olympic Committee.
