Liz Overberg, librarian for grades 3-8, has been appointed to the Young Adult Library Services Association's Website Advisory Board for 2014-2016.

This group aims to regularly assist the YALSA web services manager with the oversight and maintenance of YALSA's online presence, including but not limited to its wiki and social media channels; to liaise with YALSA member groups, member editors and member blog managers regarding the use of YALSA's website and social media tools in their work for the division; to liaise with the ALA Web Advisory Committee; and to recommend, develop and update policies for YALSA's web presence to the YALSA Board.

Overberg has been a librarian at Darlington since 2011. She holds a B.A. in English Adolescence Education from the State University of New York at Fredonia and an M.S. in Library Science with a concentration in School Libraries from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also a certified English teacher.

In addition to her service to YALSA, Overberg is a book reviewer for School Library Journal, the world's largest reviewer of books, multimedia, and technology for children and teens.
