Using Functions to “Code” Origami

Students in the seventh-grade coding exploratory learned the importance and reason for creating a function in Apple Swift. A function is a group of commands that’s given a name—such as “brush your teeth.” Then when you call the command brushTeeth(), you’ll follow each step you remember. We practiced noticing commands and forming functions by writing the instructions in camelCase () and making different origami by following someone else's instructions.
