Fourth-graders made $115 to donate to charity at today's farmer's market! The students grew, picked, washed, packed, sold the vegetables and counted the money. The students also asked to not keep the money, but to donate it to two local charities of their choice. They chose to split the money evenly between the Coosa River Basin Initiative and the William S. Davies Homeless Shelter to go towards their garden project.
