In 2015-16, Darlington celebrated the 100th anniversary of the student-created, student-led Honor Code and Honor Council. The school has since inaugurated the Honor Speaker Series to bring speakers to engage with students, faculty and staff; individuals who have demonstrated “Honor Above Everything” in both their personal and professional lives.

Today's chapel service featured Garland Tucker ('65), chairman and senior advisor of Triangle Capital Corp. since October 2006. Previously, he was group vice president of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and founder of Navigant International Southeast Inc. Tucker is the author of "The High Tide of American Conservatism: Davis, Coolidge, and the 1924 Election" and "Conservative Heroes: Fourteen Leaders Who Shaped America, from Jefferson to Reagan."
