Second grade partnered with the Deaton Darlings kindergarten students this week to research their very own president.
After finding the most interesting facts they could, students began to practice using their information in an interview format. Second-graders became news reporters, while the Darlings transformed into presidents. As they became more familiar with their information, students began acting out their interview in front of a green screen.
This great collaboration allowed the second-graders to become teachers to the little ones, while kindergarteners learned how to do basic research. All of the students had fun working together, while learning amazing facts about our country's presidents.
