The Darlington School Soccer Academy girls traveled to Miami, Fla., Dec. 26-30 to compete in one of the largest girls showcase events in the United States. The girls represented Darlington with class both on and off the field, and impressed dozens of college coaches throughout the country. Making it all the way to the semi-finals, they won their bracket with a perfect 3-0 record. They competed in the quarter finals and produced a 1-0 win to go through to the semi-final match. The girls lost in a close battle, which was decided in the final 10 minutes of regulation. All in all, the girls took away a wonderful experience and look forward to returning next year.
