Descendant of Home-on-the-Hill Builders Visits Campus

Paul Shaw, great-great grandson of Phillip and Elizabeth Hemphill who built the Home-on-the-Hill in 1832, visited Darlington on Feb. 14 to tour the house and its grounds. The oldest house in Floyd County, it has served as home to Darlington's presidents since 1923. Photos by RuthAnne Anderson
