The Coosa Junior Golf Academy had a great weekend competing in The Georgia Club Classic in Statham, Ga.
On the boys' side, senior Lauri Hacklin took home first place with a 4-under, 67. Junior Niclas Weiland played great as well posting a 1-over, 72 and finishing tied for seventh. Seniors Josh Buttshaw and Ben Shrerer also played well, posting 78 and 81, respectively.
On the girls' side, senior Hannah Mae Deems won the Classic, posting a 1-over, 72. She won the tournament by four strokes, defeating her teammate, senior Hanna Grevelius, who posted a 76. Senior Peyton Albertson and junior Scotti McGowan also finished in the top 5, posting scores of 85 and 86, respectively. Junior Moana Kubo and sophomore Victoria Samuels both finished in the top 10 of the Classic.
