Darlington School Three-Day Eventing instructors Nathalie Bouckaert (with horse West Farthing) and Michael Pollard (with horse S.S. Jett) have been named to the USET Winter Training List, according to the United States Equestrian Federation.
This list represents the horse/rider combinations that USET Eventing Selectors feel will most benefit the High Performance program in their work with Capt. Mark Phillips and other selected dressage and show jumping coaches (

"We will be supporting them through this training schedule, and we will have the opportunity to audit some of the clinics and lessons they have available to them as a member of this prestigious list,” said Danielle Ezell, assistant director of admission for eventing.
Darlington School Three-Day Eventing participants and their instructors recently traveled to Ocala, Fla., for the winter
HITS show.
“We are looking forward to seeing how much this show helps us in our upcoming season,” said Ezell.
Following this show, academy participants participated in the North America Young Riders Clinic hosted at Kyle Carter’s Five Ring Stables in Citra, Fla.
Upcoming events include the
Pine Top Farm Horse Trial in Thomson, Ga., Feb. 5-6; the Pine Top Advanced Horse Trial March 4-5; the Southern Pines Horse Trial at the
Carolina Horse Park in Raeford, N.C., March 18-20; the Beaulieu Classic CIC-W*** at Bouckaert Farms in Chatsworth, Ga., April 8-10; and the
Foxhall Cup at Foxhall Farms in Atlanta, Ga., April 13-17.
“At the Foxhall Cup, we hope a couple of our riders will be able to compete in their first one-star event,” said Ezell. “It will be a well-deserved honor for those academy participants who prepare diligently and are ready for this huge event.”
Then, on April 23-24, the group will head back to
River Glen in New Market, Tenn., to compete at an area favorite before traveling to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington for the
ROLEX Kentucky Three-Day Event.
“This will definitely be a great time and a wonderful opportunity for our students to witness behind-the-scenes at a four-star competition,” said Ezell. “We are fortunate to have such experienced coaches at Darlington’s Three-Day Eventing program, who compete at the highest levels and are willing to share that opportunity and experience with our students.”
