Members and officers of the House Senate, Honor Council, Discipline Committee, Student Support Team and “Y” Cabinet were inducted Wednesday, Sept. 1, at a special installation service held during chapel.
“It is my pleasure to welcome you into the shared leadership of this School,” said Headmaster David Rhodes during the ceremony. “It is my hope and prayer that each of you will be aware, at all times, that you have been called to serve others within our campus community. You have been given the opportunity of entering an important and growing tradition of student leadership at Darlington School. What becomes of that special tradition now rests in your hands …”
House Senate officers are Anne Montgomery, president; Payton Bradford, vice president; and Cassie McCoy, secretary. Members include Barton Lowrey, senior class president, as well as Gray Allen, Fatema Bandukwala, Drew Beaver, Jonathan Brandreth, Kristi Buice, Tristan Griffin, Davis Grizzard, Brett Henson, Caroline Holbrook, Meredith Hom, Stovall Knight, Bradley Large, Maritza Mendoza, Jody Milford, John Newton, Mary O’Brien, Fletcher Ogletree, Timmy Pakron, William Richardson and Lindsay Templer.
Honor Council officers are Barton Lowrey, president; William Richardson, vice president; and Kristi Buice, secretary. Members include Carrington Astin, Fatema Bandukwala, Davis Byars, Norman Bonnyman, Steve Chumbler, Ana Glass, Bo Hammond, Luke Hyder, Schell Hufstetler, Kim King, Anna Krueger, Bradley Large, Eliza McArthur, Kyndall McKemie, Ben Pate, Quincey Price, Will Raybon, Ecko Steadman and Harley Yancey.
The first-ever Discipline Committee president is Gray Allen. Members include Brett Henson, Claire Davis, Kendra Harris, Peter Whatley, Suh-In Lee, Will Edwards and Will Watters.
Student Support Team officers are Timmy Pakron, president, and Fletcher Ogletree, vice president. Members include Norman Bonnyman, Mary Katherine Branham, Marlowe Brant, Bennett Brock, Zach Cavalier, Brittni Dulaney, A.J. Evans, Nasir Fakhri, Crystal Gadishaw-Lue, Ana Glass, Allison Harbin, Emily Hendrickson, Dennis Kim, Kyndall McKemie, Anna Orr, Jessica Sloan and Wil Tucker.
“Y” Cabinet officers are Cassie McCoy and Fletcher Ogletree, co-presidents, and Madison McRae and William Richardson, co-vice presidents. Members include Carrington Astin, Zach Daniel, Brittany Dulaney, Katherine Eid, Nasir Fakhri, Sarah Fox, Colin Fletcher, Emily Hendrickson, Lauren Johnson, Denis Kim Ross Langley, Anne Montgomery, Quincy Price, Kirk Riedling, Trey Robinson, Matt Stuenkel, Elizabeth Sturdivant and Wil Tucker.
