Related Stories Tickets for the Darlington Players’ spring play, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, are now on sale for Fine Arts Booster Club patrons and members and will be available for sale for everyone beginning Jan. 19. Fine Arts Boosters’ Club Humanities Society and Friend’s Circle members as well as Patrons are entitled to one free ticket for each member of their immediate family. A limited number of reserved seats can be purchased on a first-come-first-serve basis by calling the Darlington Voice Mail line at 802-4365, press the “*” key followed by the extension number, 598. Leave a message with your name and phone number and the number and date of the tickets needed. They will be available for pick-up at the auditorium 30 minutes prior to the performance.

General admission tickets are $10 ($5 for students, senior citizens and children) and go on sale to the public on Monday, Jan. 19, at Kroger East and West, The Music Rome, the Rome Area Council for the Arts, Bella Luna, and Traditions, as well as at the Lower and Middle School offices and at the receptionist’s desk at the Upper School.

The musical, starring Stephanie Hom as Cinderella, Ross Langley as the Prince, and Katie Tumlin as the Fairy Godmother, will be presented at the Rome City Auditorium over Valentine’s Day weekend, Feb. 13 and 14 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. It promises to be quite an event, with some of the most elaborate sets, special effects, and dance numbers the Darlington Players have attempted yet.

Marisa Ortega is musical director, with Dan Bishop as choral director, Bill King as music director, and Kim Tunnell as rehearsal pianist. Georgie Hall is back again this year to work on choreography, and Rob Davis is designing the intricate sets. Sunny Wescott Cox is costume seamstress.
