Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg, the author of “Building Resilience in Children and Teens,” will return to campus Monday, Oct. 17 to work with students, faculty and parents. Many in our community have read this book as part of Darlington’s first-ever community read for parents and faculty, and we look forward to having Dr. Ginsburg back on campus.

“Building Resilience in Children and Teens” offers strategies for adults to help young people from 18 months to 18 years of age build seven crucial “Cs” (competence, confidence, connection, character, contribution, coping, and control) so they can bounce back from challenges and thrive throughout life. The book describes how to raise authentically successful children who will be happy, hardworking, compassionate, creative and innovative. If interested, you can still purchase a book at this link
