Second-graders celebrated the first day of fall during exploratory by creating apple picking baskets. They were challenged to create a basket using strips of paper, tape, pipe cleaners, brads and one sheet of paper. The basket needed to be designed to hold three mini apples and it had to have a handle. All 31 baskets met the criteria and most held apples!
