Science and math honor societies induct new members

Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society
Darlington School’s science and math honor societies inducted new members during a ceremony held Monday, March 7, in Morris Chapel.

To be inducted into Gamma Chi Epsilon Science Honor Society, seniors must be a member of the Georgia Junior Academy of Science; be in the top 20% of their graduating class; have successfully completed at least three science courses and be enrolled in a fourth; and be in good standing with Darlington School. Inductees included PamPam Akinyemi, Selena Chen, Shelby Cline, Will Crawford, Dawson Horah, Sally Jones, Khing Klangboonkrong, Hunter Manning, Daniel Morris, Vraj Patel, Alyse Redden, Will Robertson, Carl Schriever, Will Sparks, Adam Tarrant and Mary Margaret Wright.

 

To be inducted into Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, students must be currently enrolled in Pre-Calculus or higher and have a minimum 95 average in all math courses taken, and no grades below 90. Only seniors may be inducted during their first year at Darlington.
