Fifth-grader Shriya Garg is currently visiting family in India. Her classmates enjoyed catching up with her through Skype this morning—she had so much to share!
One of the things that the students learned is that the Taj Mahal is symmetrical! Shriya also shared that the time difference is about 10 hours and that the weather is like fall in India right now. She has learned some interesting facts about the kings of India. Fifth-grade students were surprised to learn that kids in India go to school on Saturday.
We look forward to hearing more about her adventures in India when she returns. We are not sure that Shriya is ready for the 18-hour plane ride home on Monday!
