Fields ('15) caps final season as Athlete of the Year

Recent Darlington graduate Spencer Fields ended his senior season as the Rome News-Tribune Track and Field Athlete of the Year for small schools.
Over the course of the season, the alum won the 3,200-meter run Class AA state title, the sectional title in the 3,200, and third place in state in the 1,600. Fields also set the Darlington record in the 3,200 and 5,000-meter runs.
