Through Darlington School’s partnership with Double W Farms, Upper School boarding students can take their Hunter/Jumper training to the next level while becoming part of a vibrant college-preparatory community.
A premier place to train.
Located just 15 minutes from campus, Double W Farms offers a premier training environment across 250 picturesque acres in Rome. Riders have access to two 12-stall barns, a 195’ x 105’ arena with GGT footing, miles of scenic trails and dedicated spaces for veterinary and farrier care. With additional arena and turnout space planned, the facility is designed to support riders as they grow and compete at a high level.
Riders receive individualized training tailored to the goals of each rider and horse, with an emphasis on classic equitation principles, horsemanship and goal-oriented development. Full-service boarding and training provide professional horse care, lessons and professional rides to support each student’s competitive goals. Riders also have opportunities to compete at leading equestrian venues throughout the Southeast and beyond.
