In this #SeniorSpotlight, get to know Jose Castellanos, a three-year boarding student from Udhailiyah, Saudi Arabia, who plays soccer and loves spending time in Moser House.
What house are you a member of?
Moser House
What are you involved in at Darlington (clubs, sports, fine arts, leadership positions, etc.)
Soccer
If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?
Coach Luitweiler because he gives us hard training to improve our skills.
What's your favorite place on campus and why?
My dorm because I get to see my closest friends and it's just like going to my house.
Who's your favorite teacher and why?
Mr. Hudson because he's really chill and is good at helping me understand the topics.
What's your favorite thing about Darlington?
My friends.
Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.
Getting the experience to live with the diversity in all of our cultures.
What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?
I'm more independent and I don't have to rely so much on my parents to help me.
Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
I want to go to Texas A&M and my dream job is to be working in some car company.
