Who Was Your Commencement Speaker?

House Senate President Wale Desalu made a very compelling speech a couple of weeks ago during Commencement. We thought you might like to read or hear what he had to say about his class and his Darlington experience. As you read (or listen), I urge you to think about your own Darlington Commencement. Who was your Commencement speaker and what life lessons did he or she share with you, what emotions came over you as you prepared to cross the stage and get your diploma, etc.

Wale is a remarkable young man. As four-year resident student from Nigeria, he is the first international student to have been elected as House Senate President (i.e. student body president). He is headed off to study at Carnegie Mellon this fall. We are proud of Wale and the entire Class of 2010 for their accomplishments.
