White named March Student of the Month

Outstanding academic achievement has won senior Rosie White the honor of being named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for March.
White currently ranks 22nd in the class of 139. During her high school career, she has taken 19 AP and Honors courses. An AP Scholar, she is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Gamma Chi Epsilon and Mu Alpha Theta. She is also a consistent member of the Headmaster's List.
At Darlington, White has been a member of the Honor Council and has appeared in two winter musicals, "Beauty and the Beast" and "Crazy For You." She also takes dance at Cartersville School of Ballet and Cartersville City Ballet, where she is a pre-professional elite member of the company. Additionally, she enjoys volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club and with other local organizations.
The daughter of Vandi and Harry White of Cartersville, Ga., she will be honored at an Optimist Club luncheon on March 26.
