What Should My Junior be Doing in April?

Your child should meet with his or her college advisor after completing the Game Plan, Junior Survey, and Résumé on Naviance Family Connection. Parents are welcome to attend these meetings as well!
In addition, your child should start building a list of colleges to research on Naviance Family Connection under "Prospective Colleges." Now is the time to dream big! Urge your student to put any college of interest on the list.
Start researching prospective colleges by checking out their Naviance pages, visiting their Web sites, requesting printed materials from the colleges themselves, looking over the colleges’ catalogs in Darlington's McCallie-Kennedy Library, talking to current students and alumni about their impressions, and/or visiting the college in person. Your student should schedule college visits for this spring and summer.
