Ward wins girls' runner of the year, teammates named to all-area teams

Several members of Darlington's girls' varsity cross country team were recognized for their performance on the trails this season, and were named to all-area teams.

 

FIRST TEAM

Stephanie Ward was named girls’ all-area runner of the year. She is a junior and the daughter of Claude and Jay Ward of Dhahrain, Saudi Arabia.

 

Lauren Hooper is a senior, and is the daughter of Sherri and Gene Hooper of Rome.

 

Kinslee Clevenger is a senior, and is the daughter of Gina and Lee Clevenger of Rome.

 

SECOND TEAM

Emily Edwards is a freshman, and is the daughter of Nancy and Clay Edwards of Rome.

 

Mamie Johnson is a sophomore, and is the daughter of Laurie and Dan Johnson of Rome.
