Ten percent makes a big difference to Darlington. Each year, the Annual Fund makes up the 10 percent gap between what the School can reasonably charge for tuition and what the School needs to provide the excellent education for which it is known.

This year, Darlington is seeking $1,350,000 to bridge the gap between tuition and the budget. Gifts to the Annual Fund keep Darlington’s mission alive in many ways, including funding instructors who are able to focus on individual students and encourage them to achieve more than they thought they were capable of doing, environments that are comfortable and conducive to learning, and educational opportunities that offer students the chance to experience academic success from varied perspectives throughout their elementary and secondary education.

This year’s campaign focuses on participation from every person connected with the School, parents, grandparents, alumni, the School’s volunteer leaders, friends of the School, faculty, and administration. Gifts can be made to Darlington School’s 2002-2003 Annual Fund online at www.darlingtonschool.org/development, or by mailing a completed pledge card to the Development Office, Darlington School, 1014 Cave Spring Road, Rome, GA 30161.
